We’re a Deaf Canadian couple traveling with our hearing daughter — sharing accessible family adventures in American Sign Language (ASL).

McGuire’s Journey Blog

From the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains to the glacier-fed lakes and wide-open prairies, Alberta gave us some of the most unforgettable landscapes we have ever experienced.

It became the perfect place for us to tell visual travel stories through ASL — capturing the peaceful beauty, the powerful moments, and the deep connection we felt with nature.

Explore Toronto’s downtown energy and the peaceful beauty of Toronto Island Park during our Canadian Thanksgiving trip. Shared visually through ASL and captions, this travel story captures stunning skyline views and quiet nature escapes.

About Us

We’re Mujde and Ryan McGuire — a Deaf Canadian couple — and proud parents to our beautiful hearing daughter, Emily.

Together, we share our story through McGuire’s Journey — a Deaf-led travel and family platform that includes both a YouTube vlog and a blog, exploring the world with a unique and inclusive perspective.

Through American Sign Language (ASL), captions, and visual storytelling, we bring peaceful, accessible travel experiences to life — from scenic road trips to family adventures around the globe.
